Midterm Elections

Like most Americans, the approach of the midterm elections brought with it excitement, apprehension and a hope for a better America. On the day before the election, November 1, 2010 I was excited with the anticipation of seeing, hearing and photographing some of Minnesota's prominent politicians as they made a last minute stop just before noon at the Winona airport to drum up last minute support. I only found out about the rally the day before by reading a small little notation in our local newspaper.

I had a great time as I talked with, observed and photographed not only the politicians but the people that were on hand to greet them and listen to their message. The interactions between the politicos and the public that surrounded them was interesting to watch. They all brimmed with a sense of excitement and anticipation.
