Back to the refuge on Saturday 4/23/11
Spring is well on it's way at the refuge. There are now enough birds to keep it interesting. The other plus is that the undergrowth has yet to get a good foothold and this allows for easier access to the creatures that usually hide there. The images from this photo shoot have not had textures added. I was using some new "glass" and was very impressed by the image clarity and color. It was kind of a test run.

This Sandhill Crane suprised me as I entered the refuge. He gave me a few seconds to shoot a couple of frames before flew off. |
