A unique auction in Winona
This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of attending and photographing a tractor and farm implement seat auction at the American Legion in Winona. AK & S Auctions conducted the sale that consisted of 350 plus cast iron seats from a collection of the late Loren Fimian. I thought it would be a great opportunity to photograph a rare and unique auction. Although the crowd was not huge, there were serious buyers and collectors from across the country. To my surprise there is an organization comprised of these collectors that has catalogued these unique seats.
In case you missed this unique Winona event, I have posted the following photos from the auction.
Please enjoy and remember to click on the images to enlarge them. Also feel free to share on Facebook.
